Rolling into town!!!

Our new Community Club has been formed and we are ready to roll!! The 4H Texas Tumbleweeds meet every second Friday of the month at Bevan's Arabian Ranch Barn (thank you Ms. Bevan for letting us have it there!) This past Friday we got underway and elected our officers:
President: Grace Otten
Vice President: Grace DeAlessandro
Secretary: Katherine Keller
Historian: Presleigh Akers
USA Sgt. of Arms: Grace Barrick
4H Sgt. of Arms: Anne-Claire Jones

We had 7 adults and 9 4Hers come to our meeting...what a group! And with some more additions, we are on our way to a 13 member group total!

A presentation was given by Grace Otten on Horse Safety. What to do around and when you are close to a horse and what to avoid. Very interesting! 

Next meeting we will have another presentation by Grace Barrick and it's scheduled for Friday, November 8th at 6pm.

It all went very well and we'll have more to blog about after our next meeting!! Below are some pix!
